Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department

Established in 1852, the CSHFD is one of the oldest fire departments on Long Island. Operating from a single firehouse, 20 active members provide Fire, Rescue & ALS level EMS transport responding to 450 alarms annually. The former firehouse (circa 1895) was purchased privately by two members and preserved as a museum housing an antique hand drawn engine & other dept. memorabilia.
