Reisterstown Vol. Fire Co.

Baltimore County Station 41

Established in 1913, this all-volunteer company provides Fire, Rescue and ALS level EMS protection. Reisterstown VFC boasts a considerable amount of members who are career firefighters with both the Baltimore City and Baltimore County fire departments.

Engine 412 “Top Gun II” - 2007 Seagrave Marauder II 2,250 gpm/500 gal./25A/CAFS

This engine was the very first in the county to feature a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS).

Squad 414 “Top Cat” - 1992 Peterbilt/1993 SWAB Walk-in Heavy Rescue

Featuring a 20’ walk-in box with officer’s side access, it is equipped with a 20KW PTO generator, light tower, cascade system and a Holmatro CORE rescue tool system. The rig is shown posed in front of Franklin Middle School located next to Reisterstown’s firehouse. This school was used in the filming of the movie “Crybaby” featuring the actor Johnny Depp. While the movie was being filmed on Main Street complete with 1930’s vintage cars, Johnny Depp ate lunch on a daily basis with the firefighters who provided stand-by Fire & EMS protection for the cast and crew of the movie!!

Utilized for rescue & EMS support, it features Holmatro CORE rescue tools & full ALS equipment.
