Shown next to Reisterstown’s firehouse, the rig is posed in front of Franklin Middle School which was used in the filming of the movie “Crybaby” featuring the actor Johnny Depp. While the movie was being filmed on Main Street complete with 1930’s vintage cars, Johnny Depp ate lunch on a daily basis with the firefighters who provided stand-by Fire and EMS protection for the cast and crew of the movie!
Squad 414 (“Top Cat” - Retired) - 1992 Peterbilt/1993 SWAB Wagon Co.
Featuring a 20’ walk-in box with officers side access, it was equipped with a 20kw PTO generator, light tower, cascade system and a Holmatro® CORE extrication tool system. Replaced with a 2019 Seagrave Marauder II/Rescue 1 four door cab with a 20' walk-around rescue body, this rig now serves the Grantsville VFD in Garrett County, Maryland. "Top Cat" was the third squad to have been operated by Reisterstown VFC having replaced a 1979 Ford C8000/Saulbury
