Calvert County Company 2
Organized in 1940, Prince Frederick VFD operates as Calvert County Company 2 serving a 20 square mile response area. Fifty nine active members respond from a modern station opened in 2021 providing Fire and Rescue protection answering 1,400 alarms annually.
Engine 21 - 2008 Seagrave Marauder II 1750 gpm/500 gal.
Seating six and outfitted with a 10kw PTO generator, Engine 21 replaced a 1989 Pierce Lance 1250/750 that now serves the Mount Jackson VFD in Virginia.
Engine 22 - 2012 Seagrave Marauder II 1750 gpm/500 gal.
This rig replaced a 1991 Pierce Lance that now serves with the Hilltown Township VFC in Pennsylvania.
Tanker 2 - 2012 Peterbilt/Pierce 1000 gpm/3000 gal.
Featuring three automatic dump chutes, it replaced a 1988 Mack R model elliptical tanker that was acquired by the Rolling Hills VFD in Oklahoma.
Brush 2 - 2018 Dodge Ram 5500/Knapheide 300 gpm/250 gal.
Having replaced a 2002 Ford F250, Brush 2 is outfitted with a 250' booster reel, 400' of 2.5" supply line and EMS equipment.
Jeep 2 - 1994 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 HP pump/60 gal.
Prince Frederick VFD operates this "open air" Jeep which is a common style of brush truck used among many Southern Maryland departments.

Tower 2 replaced a 1979 Maxim/1993 Pierce Arrow rear mount ladder now running with the King George County FD in Virginia.
Squad 2 - 2018 Emergency One Cyclone II 250 gpm/250 gal.
Having replaced a 1994 Emergency One Cyclone TC series four door walk-around rescue seating eight, the current Squad 2 features a 24' 6" walk-in body that seats six. It is outfitted with a 20kw hydraulic generator, 9,000 watt light tower, an Emergency-One HRT system supplying power to six 100' "hot" Amkus reels as well as a front mount winch and 1-3/4" pre-connect. In addition, it features side anchor points for rope rescue, a two cylinder 6,000 psi cascade
with two bottle explosion proof fill station, air reels and 250' cord reels with junction boxes. Its' equipment complement includes five airbags, Rescue 42® struts, a portable winch with side/rear receiver points, come-a-long, 2.5 ton floor jack,
Stokes basket, SKED® stretcher, RIT Pack, two thermal imagers, a full set of Milwaukee® battery powered tools, Stihl® saws (chain/rotary), two Blowhard® fans, a driver's SCBA and assorted hand tools with paracord wrap.
