Following its' organization in 1956, Hollywood VFD originally operated their sole engine from a barn until moving into their first firehouse completed in late 1957. Present day, the department operates from this modern five bay station built in 1991 which features sleeping quarters for fourteen on-duty volunteers that staff their rigs for rapid response. In addition, it features a banquet hall seating up to 750 guests (the largest venue of its' kind in St. Mary's County)
which is routinely booked out more than a year in advance!Tanker 74 - 2018 Pierce Arrow XT 1250 gpm/2000 gal.

Seating two, it features increased ground clearance with military spec wheels and rims, an around-the-pump foam system, twin 25 gpm under bumper perimeter sweep nozzles, two 200' 3/4" booster reels as well as front and rear winches.
