Oceanville Vol. Fire Co. No. 1

Organized in 1924 as the first fire company serving Galloway Township, Oceanville Vol. Fire Co. No. 1 serves the Northeast section of the township. Thirty five active volunteers provide Fire and Rescue protection for a 15 mile response area.

Oceanville VFC# 1 operates this rig as one of only three aerial devices serving among the five independent volunteer fire companies that comprise the Galloway Township Fire Department. Pomona VFC# 3 runs a rear mount aerial while Bayview VFC# 4 operates a rear mount ladder tower.

Tanker 26-18 - Peterbilt/4 Guys 1500 gpm/3000 gal.

This rig replaced a 1950's era Mack B-61 tractor hauling a 5,000 gallon former HESS tanker that was converted in-house by Oceanville's members.
