Acquired in 1972 from the Seaview Country Club for $1.00, the rig was given a partial restoration in 1976 for the company's 50th anniversary. In 1985, a complete restoration was begun and completed over the course of nine years. This rig is quite unyque in that the manufacturer Garford primarily built heavy duty delivery trucks and very few fire engines.
