This rig replaced a 1969 Seagrave KB model 1500 gpm/750 gallon pumper that later served the Asbury Park FD (also of Monmouth County) as a reserve engine. It features a Compressed Air Foam System, 15kw generator and two electric cord reels.
Rescue 37-2-85 - 2007 American LaFrance Eagle/Rescue Master
Seating six (five with SCBA), this rig features a 30kw generator, 9,000 watt light tower, electric roll-off awning, six bottle cascade system with a Sierra® booster pump and a 9,000 lb. portable winch with multiple receiver points. It is equipped with multiple hydraulic reels powering Hurst® extrication tools (combi-tool on front bumper, spreader/cutter/rams in rear compartment).
Special Operations 37-2-87 - 2017 Ford F550 XL 4x4/EVI
Featuring a 13' walk-around body, it is outfitted with a 7.8kw generator, four telescoping lights (two fixed, two portable), 200' electric cord reel and 9,000 pound front mount winch. A 6,000 pound rated crane is provided to launch the 10' rigid inflatable rescue boat with 15 HP motor. It is equipped with water rescue gear, Stokes basket, haz-mat and dewatering equipment.
