Featuring a six man cab (five with SCBA), Engine 36 carries enough hose on the front bumper alone to qualify it as Class A engine! The bumper load features 50 and 100 foot "dead lays" and 100'/150' pre-connects of 1-3/4" attack line, a 150' dead lay of 2-1/2" hose with a portable blitz monitor and 25' of 5" LDH suction hose pre-connected. The remainder of its' hose load consists of pre-connected 1-3/4" (200'/300') and 2-1/2" (200'/300') attack lines, 600' of 3" and 1,700' of 5" LDH supply line (two split beds of 850') as well as 42' of hard suction. In addition, it is also equipped with a Hurst® hydraulic spreader and cutter, e-Draulic® combi-tool/rams and Res-Q-Jacks®.
Ladder 36 - 2006 Seagrave Meanstick 75'/1500 gpm/350 gal./20A foam (x2)
Assigned for Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) response, Ladder 36 is outfitted with a combi-tool and rope rescue gear. Its' hose complement includes a 150' 1-3/4" bumper line, three 200' pre-connects (two 1-3/4", one 2-1/2") as well as 600' each of 3" and 5" LDH supply line.
Tanker 36 - 2003 Kenworth T800/New Lexington/2009 Seagrave 1500 gpm/3250 gal.
Originally constructed by New Lexington (a now defunct manufacturer from Pennsylvania), due to extensive body rot, a new body was built by Seagrave in 2009.

Brush 36 was the first rig (of two I photographed in 2021) built by 1st Attack Engineering based out of Indiana. Having seen these rigs in person, they are indeed just as "beefy" as they look in ads!
