Read MoreOrganized in 1931 with 34 charter members, the department was renamed in 1934 as the Kinney Hose Co. to honor the founder/first fire chief Louis Kinney. Serving a 19.2 square mile rural response area with Fire, Rescue and ALS level EMS protection, the Westons Mills Fire District encompasses the Northwest corner of Portville, the eastern portion of the Town of Olean and bordering the City of Olean. The company also operates with the Allegany Engine Co. as part of a technical rescue team providing swift water/ice, rope and confined space rescue.

Retired in late 2021, this rig was replaced with a 2001 HME 1871/1999 Rescue 1 walk-in style heavy rescue that formerly served the Mount Kisco FD in Westchester County, New York. It now serves with Livingston Fire-Rescue in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.
