The pride of New Berlin's fleet, Engine 251 is assigned first due to structure fires. Seating six (five with SCBA), it is outfitted with five 200' pre-connects, a 200' pre-connected master stream monitor for blitz attack, a piercing nozzle and 1,500' of 5" LDH supply line.
Engine 252 - 1991 International/Saulsbury 1000 gpm/500 gal.
Operating as a multi-purpose piece, this rig is assigned for motor vehicle accidents and brush fires. Accordingly, it is equipped with two SCBA, four pre-connects and 1,000' of 5" LDH supply line as well as a Holmatro® combi-tool with portable power unit. It responds in conjunction with a walk-in style heavy rescue
(based on available drivers) equipped with multiple Holmatro® extrication tools.Tanker 256 - 2009 Freightliner/Midwest 2000 gal.
Designed to move maximum water using minimal manpower, this rig is equipped with cab mounted hydraulic controls to operate the three large side and rear dump chutes. It is equipped with a portable pump, floating strainer and adapters making it a self sufficient water supply unit.
