one station providing Fire, Rescue and ALS level transporting EMS services.Constructed in 2006, this station allowed the consolidation of the operations of two firehouses including one that was built to cover the other half of the district which was split by railroad tracks. Present day,

Having replaced twin 1984 Young Fire Apparatus pumpers, Engine 1 is first due for vehicle/dumpster and grass/brush fires not involving a structure as well as acting
as a water supply for Quint 6. It is outfitted with a 300' 1-3/4" pre-connect, 200 1-3/4" "dead-lay", a 200' 2-1/2" pre-connect, a "long stretch" bed of 200' of 1-3/4" over
200' of 2-1/2" attack line and 500' of 4" LDH supply line.Quint 6 - 2019 KME Aerialcat 79'/2000 gpm/500 gal.
The replacement for a 1996 Simon-Duplex/LTI 75' rear mount aerial quint, it is assigned to respond first due in district for all structure fires and most other alarms as well as second due for FAST (rapid intervention) response. Seating six (five with SCBA), Quint 6 is equipped with two 200' pre-connects (1-3/4" and 2-1/2"), a rear 300' 1-3/4" "garden stretch" load (for set back garden apartments), 200' of 1-3/4" over 200' of 2-1/2" attack line for long stretches and 500' of 4" LDH supply line.
