This rig along with Brush 1-3 survived the devastating fire that destroyed Ashland’s firehouse in 2010. It is dedicated to the memory of Firefighters Paul Alle and Gary Partridge who were lost in a LODD incident. Outfitted with a Compressed Air Foam System, it carries two "squirrel tail" lengths of 6" suction hose and is equipped with a multi-port manifold pre-connected on the rear step.
Ladder 1-7 - 1986 Pirsch 110’
This rig has had quite a service life over the past 35 years - original to the Catskill FD, it later served Coxsackie Hose Co# 3 (both also in Greene County) before being acquired by a private owner who later donated it to Ashland. It operates as a support piece outfitted with assorted ground ladders and a pulley system for use during flag arch details.
Rescue 1-5 - 1995 International 4900/Rescue 1
Having formerly serving a department in downstate New York, it retains its’ original color scheme and features a 20kw PTO generator, light tower and cascade system. It is outfitted with two sets of Amkus® extrication tools as well as all the department’s SCBA and turn-out gear (with the exception of those carried on Engines 1-2 and 1-6).
