Seating six (five with SCBA), this rig it is equipped with a 25' light tower. For added safety when operating on high speed highways, it features a three door crew cab (with curbside access) and a rear mounted pump to move the pump operator out of the flow of traffic.
Engine Tanker 32-6 (Retired) - 1978 Mack CF/1998 Central States 1000 gpm/1000 gal.
Still in active frontline service, this rig responds third due and is utilized for water supply operations. After 20 years of service, it received a full refurbishment in 1998 complete with a new body featuring high side compartments with roll up doors on both sides. After 44 years of active service, this rig was retired in early 2022.
Rescue 32 (Retired) - 1995 HME/Saulsbury 1500 gpm/1000 gal.
Featuring a three door crew cab for added crew safety, this rig was the first to utilize the Blue color scheme that Schodack Valley has come to be known for (they even wore Blue turn-out gear at one point!). Seating seven, it is equipped with a 35kw generator, 30' light tower and a full complement of AmkusĀ® extrication tools. It was replaced in 2022 with a new Rosenbauer Commander EXT rescue engine featuring a rear mounted 1500 gpm pump, 1,000 gallon tank,
light tower and cascade system.
