Outfitted with a 10 kw generator, this rig also features a 30 gal. Enforcer® Compressed Air Foam System. Its' hose load includes four 1-3/4" pre-connects (including a 75' bumper length), two 200' speedlays, a rear 250' 2-1/2" pre-connect, 500' of 3" and 900' of 5" LDH supply line. It is equipped with six SCBA, a thermal imager, CO meter, Cutters Edge®/K-12 saws and a portable Hurst® power unit supplying a spreader and cutter.
Rescue 5-12-10A - 2002 Ford F350/American LaFrance
Now serving as a light rescue, it formerly was assigned to fire police for traffic control duty. A growing trend among Long Island volunteer departments is operating a smaller rescue such as this alongside their full sized heavy rescue allowing for increased flexibility during daytime alarms with limited manpower (particularly drivers for larger apparatus).
Dive Rescue 5-12-8 - 1989 GMC/Saulsbury
Originally serving the Farmingdale FD in neighboring Nassau County as a heavy rescue, this rig now operates as a response vehicle for Mastic's dive team which operates as a multi-department Marine Incident Response Team handling water/ice/dive rescue.
