Engine 78-3 (Retired) - 2001 Kenworth 4x4/Pierce 1250 gpm/800 gal.
Previously assigned to respond to field/woods fires, it featured four wheel drive and a 400 gpm “pony pump” plumbed to a remote controlled bumper turret. A mural on the tailboard compartment door of the firefighter’s “The Lord is my Shepherd” was dedicated to the memory of Asst. Chief Arnold Blankenship who was lost in a LODD training accident in 2000. May his service and dedication never be forgotten.
