Acquired in 2021, this brush breaker formerly served the neighboring Wareham Fire District.

Replaced in 2021 with the breaker shown above, this rig has now been decommissioned in the town DPW yard where the body has been removed.

After 48 years of dedicated service, the original "breaker" body which proved to be too low and heavy for its' purpose had rusted off the chassis prompting a refurbishment. A new body was designed, fabricated and installed over a one year period by Asst. Chief Allen Dunham in his employer's welding shop during his off time - the body was built on another chassis and then transferred to this rig in 2013. Photographed
