Designed as a nurse tanker, this rig features assorted length pre-connected large diameter supply lines in both the front bumper and the rear of the hosebed for rapid establishment of a tanker fill site while reducing its' profile on narrow rural roads. It also features
a 12" rear dump and enclosed pump panel in the crew cab for operator protection. While designed primarily as a water supply piece, it is equipped with an 1-3/4" pre-connect and SCBA for all riding positions allowing for initial fire attack in the event it arrives first due
or Engine 41-1 is out of service. It is adorned above the crew cab doors with the slogan "Living is Giving" honoring caregiving actions provided by members of the apparatus committee.Squad 41-2 - 1990 International 4700/Road Rescue
Originally operated by the Media Fire Co. of Delaware County as one of twin ambulances, this rig was purchased in 1991 for personnel/equipment transport. Considering the mint condition of this unit, it was decided to keep the existing Yellow color scheme as a cost saving measure and utilize the funds to equip it for support of fireground, traffic control and confined space rescue operations. The company also operates a 2008 GMC 5500/KME walk-around style rescue as Squad 41-1
equipped for a variety of operations including confined space and water rescue, engine company support and firefighter rehab. Due to the rural nature of a large portion of their response area, Squad 41-1 is equipped for confined space rescue operations
to handle agricultural emergencies including silo rescue and removal of livestock from manure pits.
