Slated for renovation in the Spring of 2020, the original firehouse will have the bays extended out 8' with the roof raised 4' to accommodate larger modern apparatus. In addition, the station will be outfitted with a new 25x21 gear room with enhanced entrance for added safety, relocation of the flagpole and lighting and an upgraded facade to blend into the existing building.
Engine 22 - 2009 Pierce Quantum 1500 gpm/1000 gal./CAFS
Responding first due, Engine 22 features a self contained diesel generator, Compressed Air Foam System and 2,000 gpm deck gun (plumbed for foam). Seating six (all with SCBA including the driver), its' hose load consists of a bumper mounted 100' 2-1/2" attack line with 500 gpm portable monitor, four 200' pre-connects (three of which are plumbed for foam), a 400' rear 2-1/2" pre-connect (plumbed for foam), 400' of 3" and 1,500' of 5" LDH supply line. The equipment complement includes two thermal imagers, assorted meters (4 gas/CO/Hydrogen Sulfide/hydrocarbon), 44' of ground ladders including a Little Giant®, RIT pack, large area search rope bag, rotary/chain saws, negative/positive pressure fans and a chimney box. In addition, it also carries a Pro-Pak foam pack, two 100'
1-3/4" high rise hose packs, two 15' lengths of suction hose, stepchocks, rescue struts, water rescue gear and a 30' long 50,000 pound rated pull strap (used to be pulled out by Tanker 22).Tanker 22 - 1997 Pierce Quantum 1750 gpm/3000 gal.
Outfitted with a self contained diesel generator, it features a rear swivel dump chute providing a reduced profile on rural roads. Its' hose load includes two 200' pre-connects, a 100' 1-3/4" drivers side trash line, two 15' hard suctions and 1,200' of 5" LDH supply line. It is equipped with five SCBA with spare bottles, a 3,000 gallon dump tank, portable manifold and Powerhawk® battery powered extrication tool.
Squad 22-1 - 2004 Ford F550/Summit
Squad 22-1 features a generator, two 250' electric reels, a 10' light tower, refrigerator and an iPad Pro® in the officers seat. Its' extensive equipment complement includes an Amkus® 42" spreader and 22" cutter pre-connected on 100' reels, rams, a "Speedway Cutter", two portable power units, duals sets of Milwaukee® battery powered hand tools (grinder, reciprocating and cut off saws), medium and high pressure airbags as well as rescue struts (rated to hold a tractor trailer). It also carries two SCBA, 150 pounds of absorbent, BLS medical gear, a Stokes basket with haul kit, tri-pod, a Little Giant® ladder, rope rescue gear (two rigging backpacks, four sets of rescuer PPE) and a 10,000 pound portable winch with rear receiver port.
