One of two firehouses operated by Bradford City, it serves as the headquarters housing an engine, tower ladder, three ambulances and a medic response unit staffed by three firefighters on duty. The East Fire Station staffed by two firefighter/EMT's houses Squad 1 which responds citywide.

Built on a wildland chassis to allow for the approach/departure angles needed for response areas around the city, Squad 1 responds citywide staffed with two firefighters. It features a light tower and a fold-out ladder on the officer's side to access the rooftop coffin compartments. It is equipped with Holmatro® hydraulic extrication tools (spreader/cutter/rams), Junkyard Dog® rescue struts, air bags, cribbing, a Pro-Pak® handheld
foam proportioner, a pre-connected Blitzfire® portable monitor with stacked tips and BLS medical gear as it is QRS certified for EMS first response. It is adorned with artwork to honor the sacrifice of the 343 FDNY firefighters
lost on 9/11.Tower 1 - 2013 Sutphen 70'/2000 gpm/500 gal.
Having replaced an ALF open cab aerial, it is one of only two tower ladders operating in McKean County. It is outfitted with a combi-tool, two pre-connects (200' 1-3/4", 300' 2"), 200' of 3" and 500' 5" of LDH supply line. In addition, it also carries a top mounted rear facing 2-1/2" pre-connect for use as a standpipe supply line. It is adorned with 9/11 memorial artwork honoring the FDNY 343.
