Organized in 1921, this all volunteer company provides Fire, Rescue and EMS First Response protection to the community of Beach Lake.
Built in the 1950's, this firehouse has been modified several times and present day houses Beach Lake's entire fleet consisting of an engine, rescue engine, tanker, squad and UTV.
21 Engine 1 - 2003 Ferrara 1750 gpm/1000 gal.
Outfitted as a rescue engine, it is equipped with extrication tools, airbags, chain/rotary saws and BLS medical gear including an AED. In addition, it carries a thermal imager, four gas meter and rapid intervention equipment.
21 Engine 2 - 1989 Sutphen Deluge 1500 gpm/1000 gal.
Seating seven, it is equipped with a thermal imager, an electric vent fan, two chainsaws as well as chimney and wildland firefighting equipment. In addition, it carries 1,200' of 5" LDH supply line,
89' of ground ladders and BLS medical gear including an AED.
21 Tanker 4 - 1996 Mack 750 gpm/3000 gal.
Outfitted with two SCBA, it is equipped with three crosslays (two 1-3/4", one 2-1/2"), three hard suction sleeves, 200' of 3" and 100' of 5" LDH supply line as well as a portable folding tank.
21 Squad 5 - 2018 Ford F550/Reading
Set up for light rescue and EMS first response, it is outfitted with a combi-tool, porta-power, cribbing, two bottle jacks and a chainsaw. In addition, it carries rope/water rescue gear, haz-mat supplies,
two generators, SCBA, BLS medical equipment, a Stokes basket and six backboards. Squad 5 also tows a 2013 Polaris 6x6 UTV equipped with an 80 gallon tank, brush gear and BLS medical equipment.
